Reasons to Join the Chamber
Chamber membership is an important part of being in business in the greater Savannah area. Our mission is to provide quality customer service and programs that meet the needs of our members, improve the economic environment of our community and build a legacy of leadership for the next century.

People like to do business with people they know. Let them get to know you! Meet area business professionals at our monthly events. Exchange business cards and educate potential clients about your goods and services while building relationships and growing your company.
The Chamber serves as the “Voice of Business” at all levels – local, state and federal. We speak for and represent the interests of the business community and provide information to our members on government issues that affect them. Join us and let your voice be heard!
Whether through our online membership directory or the exclusive members-only advertising and sponsorship opportunities, your membership will gain you exposure! Members, depending on their type of industry, have opportunities for publicity through an assortment of publications, including our Official Visitor Guide and Relocation Guide; a variety of websites such as Visit Savannah, Savannah I Do and Savannah Meetings; as well as access to brochure racks at our Visitor’s Centers! Also, when contacted for referrals, we only recommend our Chamber members.
Stay informed with the Chamber's weekly e-Newsletters! Our members are kept abreast of not only our own events, but also of other pertinent information including new and changing governmental laws that affect our members, and other opportunities to participate in valuable community events and programs.
Councils and Connections
The Chamber has a multitude of Councils that focus on different sectors of the community and work on programs to benefit that sector. Governmental Affairs, Military Affairs, Small Business, Ambassadors, Public Relations, Tour & Travel, and Savannah Sports Council….just to name a few!
From webinars to seminars to monthly SMART Lunches, the Chamber works hard to provide educational opportunities for business owners/managers/CEOs and their employees. We know it is not always affordable to provide education, so the Chamber pulls together The University of Georgia’s School of Business, the Georgia Chamber, and other top professionals to give instruction on timely, relevant topics of importance.
Programs of Interest
Annually the Chamber hosts breakfasts/lunches such as: Eggs and Issues Legislative Breakfast, Economic Outlook, Military Updates, etc. These well-attended events have community leaders, government officials, and members rushing for tickets so they can hear important updates on topics that affect our economy, impact our region, and shape our world.
