The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and the Savannah Morning News are excited to announce their partnership in bringing you the 2012 Business Expo and Awards Banquet. The event will be held on Thursday, October 25 at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center and is expected to be better than ever with quality educational portions and new partnerships. This year we will be introducing several new elements and hope that you will join us! The event will start with the expo and education portion. Chamber members will have the opportunity to showcase and promote their products and services, exhibitor style, and training will be provided by Peter Yesawich of MMGY Global and LeRoy, Maughan of FranklinCovey. We are happy to announce that WSAV will be sponsoring videos for each of our award winners.
The function will continue into the evening with the expo, networking, a cocktail hour and then will transition into a seated dinner where we will present the anticipated Annual Business Awards to peer-nominated business community leaders. Annual awards — such as our Small Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year and the Helen V. Head Awards — will still be presented during this event. In addition to these mainstays, we will also honor dignitaries with a Hospitality Award, a World Trade Center Savannah International Business of the Year Award and will incorporate our Annual Manufacturer’s Awards. This is THE business event of the year. You don’t want to miss it!
