June 19, 2020 – Savannah, GA –– J. Parker Ltd Opens Third Location! Savannah’s most iconic clothier, J. Parker Ltd, opened its third location on Friday, June 19 at the New Plant Riverside shops at the west end of River Street.
“We are extremely proud and excited to be part of the revitalization of the Plant Riverside area. This hotel is beautiful and offers Savannah so many new options in dining and shopping. It is a wonderful addition to downtown and will be a great place for locals as well as tourists” said Dale Parker, co-owner of J Parker. The new 1800 square foot store’s unique design can be accessed from two sides and has a spectacular view of the Savannah River. J Parker has been operating since Jimmy Parker founded it in 1972. Their location at 20 West Broughton Street continues to serve the downtown community and the Twelve Oaks Shopping Center location serves Midtown and Southside residents. J Parker carries classic menswear lines like Barbour, Peter Millar, Johnny O and Filson, and has recently added womenswear lines including Paige Denim, Skull Cashmere, Bella Dahl, Barbour and more. The business is family-owned and operated and has been dressing Savannah for generations.
