Tybee Island City Council Gets Tourism Update
Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee President Joseph Marinelli presented the Tybee Island City Council with its annual tourism update for 2020. Mayor Shirley Sessions and Councilman Monty Parks expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the Visit Tybee team, and both acknowledged how strong the tourism numbers have been this year, even with the pandemic. All are looking forward to Tybee’s newest attraction, the new Tybee Island Marine Science Center, to open in March 2021.
