In February, TripAdvisor.com, one of the world’s most trusted travel review website, announced the first category of its 2019 Travellers’ Choice awards, including its list of the “Best Romantic Hotels in the United States.” Of the 25 properties listed from Key West to Wailea, Hawaii and Boothbay Harbor, Maine, Savannah had three of its boutique inns featured: The Kehoe House at number three, The Gastonian at number 14, and the Hamilton-Turner Inn at number 22. Key West was the only other destination to have as many as three properties included on the list, although other well-known romantic getaway spots like Palm Springs and Sedona had two hotels honored.
The Kehoe House and Hamilton-Turner Inn also appeared on the lists of the “Top 25 Small Hotels in the U.S.” at numbers eight at 24 respectively, and on the “25 Hotels with the Best Service in the U.S.” list at numbers six and 25 respectively.
