Jennifer Thompson with the Visit Savannah sales team hosted meeting planners with the Association Services Group last week for a site visit. This organization services more than 10 association groups around the southeast including the Southeast Fruit and Vegetable Association that meets in Savannah every January. The meeting planners met with 17 Savannah area hotels and the Convention Center in just 2 days.

Larry Browder, director of sales with Visit Savannah and hospitality partners welcomed Rebecca Murphy, meeting planner with SCAI (The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions) last week for a site visit to the city. Savannah is in the running for a major convention in 2024 or 2025 that would bring 2,000 attendees to the city. Our guest enjoyed 3-days of experiencing Savannah including a visit with Mayor Van Johnson and many of our hospitality partners!
