GACVB Welcomes Record Attendance at Annual Meeting in Savannah

The Georgia Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus (GACVB) met in Savannah last week for their Winter Conference, which was delayed due to the pandemic earlier this year. More than 230 attendees from across Georgia convened in Savannah breaking conference attendance records for the organization. Visit Savannah served as hosts for the three-day conference where attendees engaged in seminars and round-table discussions on travel trends in Georgia and enjoyed networking events at Service Brewing with food provided by Big Bon Bodega and the Plant Riverside District’s Electric Moon. Attendees also got opportunities to participate in immersion excursions to the Savannah Convention Center, Perry Lane Hotel, the Charles Morris Center, the American Prohibition Museum and Old Town Trolley. Thank you to host hotel the Savannah Marriott Riverfront and the Visit Savannah team for their hard work on making this event a success.
