Recently, Liz Hood from the Tybee Island Visitor Center represented the destination on Georgia On My Mind day at the Georgia Welcome Center on Interstate 95, where she greeted visitors, gave travel tips, handed out the new Insider’s Guide, and more. There are 11 official Georgia visitor information centers that welcome more than 13 million guests each year.
Through the end of the summer, representatives from Georgia destinations will gather at designated Welcome Centers to showcase their destination to the more than 13 million visitors who stop at Georgia Welcome Centers each year. The next Georgia On My Mind Day will take place at the Sylvania Welcome Center on I-85 on March 29.
