Visit Savannah recently announced it has been recognized as a winner in the 2019 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice® awards for Destinations, ranking 18 out of 25 U.S. cities.
Award winners were determined based on the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings for destinations worldwide gathered over a 12-month period, as well as traveler booking interest on TripAdvisor. In the 11th year of the awards, TripAdvisor has recognized 401 destinations around the world.
“This is a very big deal for Savannah!” said president of Visit Savannah Joseph Marinelli. “Being recognized as a Travelers’ Choice Award winner by the readers of TripAdvisor is one of the top honors for any destination. These types of first-hand testimonials have tremendous value to other users and prospective visitors to our city.”
