United Way of the Coastal Empire is calling on local businesses to participate in their 2021 fundraising campaign, “Shop and Dine for United Way Day,” Saturday, November 6. It’s an opportunity to show community support as well as a chance to contribute on your company’s behalf to this amazing cause. United Way will spotlight participants on social media channels, potentially driving more business your way.

There are many ways to participate, but a few ideas are:

• Retailers: Designate a percentage of your sales for the day as a United Way contribution
• Restaurants & Bars: Offer a daily special meal, drink, or dessert, the proceeds of which are donated
• Service Provides: Offer a “service of the day” from which proceeds will be contributed to the UWCE
