Visit Savannah Domestic Group Tours and Entertainment Director Anjuli King and Mindy Shea, International Sales Director hosted the Summer Tour Operator FAM trip. This FAM trip returns after a lengthy hiatus – the last one was 2019.

For the first time in almost four years, Visit Savannah Tours and Sales team welcomed tour operators from various areas around the United States. Texas, Michigan, and Virginia were some of the many states on the list. Each group tour operator was given an authentic experience of what an actual tour and itinerary would look like for their customers. Operators experienced a 4 days/3 nights stay in Savannah which included sightseeing various historic landmarks and experiencing local dining options. The tour operators and staffers had a jolly time visiting Tybee and taking trolley tours!

During a portion of the FAM, Chamber and Visit Savannah community partners also had the opportunity to meet/greet with each operator in attendance for a 6-minute appointment at a Vendor Showcase.

This FAM trip was a great success and paved the way for a mindful start for many more FAM tours to come!
