Savannah Well Received at Washington DC Area Events
Visit Savannah’s Senior Director of Sales Larry Browder recently completed a successful visit to the Washington DC area. He attended the 40th Annual Meeting of the Association of Meeting Professionals (AMPS), a particular Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) event, and visited with customers during sales calls.
Browder found that customers in this market are very interested in the expansion of the Savannah Convention Center and the adjacent proposed new hotel. One customer told him, “everyone’s looking at Savannah these days!”
