Visit Savannah’s Larry Browder was in Washington, DC attending two high-profile events. The first event was “Connect DC.” A one-on-one appointment show, Connect DC gives destination marking organizations like Visit Savannah the opportunity to meet with meeting planners responsible for securing destinations for meetings and conventions in the Association market. Browder met with 23 potential customers over two days.

The second event was a year-end celebration by The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), DC Chapter. It was well attended by 53 meeting planners. Everyone was excited to learn more about the upcoming expansion of the Savannah Convention Center, our impressive hotel collection, and the range of attractions to explore in Savannah.
