Visit Savannah attended the 2023 GACVB Annual Conference, where CVBs from across the state gather for educational sessions and leadership training. During the event, organizations were recognized for their outstanding achievements across the industry. Savannah received two notable awards.

The first, a Georgia Trend TravelBlazers award, recognizes the Plant Riverside District project as an outstanding collaboration and partnership between multiple organizations and businesses. The partnership led to a new lodging, dining, and entertainment complex that anchors the west side of Savannah’s wharf. Visit Savannah also received the prestigious Destination Marketing Visionary Award for the “Surprisingly Savannah: NYC-Pop Event”, recognizing a breakthrough campaign that delivered a powerful message in a creative way.
