Chamber Hosts Georgia Public Commissioner for an Energy Update Breakfast

The Savannah Area Chamber hosted Georgia Public Service Commissioner Tim Echols on July 7th for a breakfast centered on the state’s energy updates. Vice-Chair Echols discussed Georgia’s changing energy portfolio and ideas that companies can employ to save money and integrate greener technologies to become more sustainable. Echols provided the latest on EVs, including special grants for EV charging infrastructure.

Finally, Echols also addressed future innovations like hydrogen, small modular reactors, and tidal turbines, including what it may take to scale such resources.
