The Savannah Chamber and Visit Savannah recently met with the new leadership team for its five Visitor Information Centers (VICs) to set the course for the remainder of this year and next. The meeting was led by Visit Savannah President Joseph Marinelli and included the new VIC managers Kelli Lee, Danielle Arnold, Liz Hood, and Shiketa Hales. The team discussed their plans for improving the VICs’ customer service, marketing, and programming.

One key initiative the team is focused on is re-energizing the Member Showcase program, which allows Chamber members to showcase their goods and services to visitors at the Main VIC. The program will be relaunched in the coming months with a renewed approach to promote local businesses. The team is also planning to improve the VICs’ website and social media presence. They will also be adding new events and activities to the VICs’ calendars.
