Visit Savannah Welcomes ESTO Conference

Visit Savannah welcomed the U.S. Travel Association’s ESTO Conference to the city last week. The five-day event brought over 1,250 tourism marketing professionals from around the country to Savannah for the most current and trending tourism trends and seminars.

The conference kicked off with a welcome reception at the Savannah Convention Center, where Mayor Van Johnson and Visit Savannah President, Joseph Marinelli, officially welcomed the group to the city. U.S. Travel Association’s CEO, Geoff Freeman, also spoke at the reception, noting that this is the largest overall attendance in the 30-year history of ESTO.

The conference included a variety of educational sessions, networking opportunities, and industry awards. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore Savannah’s many attractions, including its historic downtown, cobblestone streets, and antebellum mansions.

“We are thrilled to host the ESTO Conference in Savannah,” said Marinelli. “This event is a major economic boost for our city, and it also provides a great opportunity to showcase Savannah’s tourism assets to a national audience.”

The ESTO Conference is one of the largest and most important tourism conferences in the country. It is a valuable opportunity for tourism professionals to learn about the latest trends in the industry and network with their peers.

The Visit Savannah team is grateful to the U.S. Travel Association for choosing Savannah as the host city for this year’s ESTO Conference. The event was a huge success, and it helped to position Savannah as a premier destination for tourism.
