Last week, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce hosted The Savannah Junior League’s “Bubbles & Bills” at the Chamber office. Chamber President & CEO Bert Brantley and VP of Government Affairs Jared Downs talked to the group about the Chamber’s advocacy efforts on behalf of the business community. Brantley and Downs provided insight into the Chamber’s collaborative efforts with local, state, and federal leaders. They emphasized the Chamber’s commitment to ensuring that these leaders are well-informed about the specific business requirements within the Savannah area and encouraged the enactment of business-friendly legislation.
The discussion also encompassed a range of pertinent local and regional issues facing the Savannah area. These issues included transportation, education, homelessness, and workforce development.
