Anjuli King with Visit Savannah, Renee Scott with Old Savannah Tours, and Hayley Johns from Best Western Historic District recently traveled to the Northeast to make sales calls and meet potential clients. The team met with ten group tour operators between Boston and Connecticut and secured bookings for groups arriving in Savannah as early as the week of October 9, 2023. The team will head to Ohio for their next sales mission next fall.

The team met with some group tour operators over lunch, while others met over dinner. At each meeting, they discussed the many benefits of booking a group tour to Savannah, such as the city’s rich history, beautiful scenery, and delicious food. They also provided the operators with information on Savannah’s attractions, restaurants, and hotels.

The team’s success in the Northeast is a testament to the growing popularity of Savannah as a group tour destination. The city’s unique charm and Southern hospitality make it an excellent place for groups of all sizes to visit.
