In conjunction with America Recycles Day on November 15, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Savannah are proud to announce an enhanced recycling and sustainability program across their main office and visitor information centers. This initiative, spearheaded in collaboration with Pratt Industries – Recycling Division and the City of Savannah, reflects the organization’s unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship and its vision for a greener Savannah.
“As a leading advocate for business growth and sustainability in our community, we recognize the critical role of environmental stewardship in shaping a thriving Savannah,” remarked Bert Brantley, President and CEO of the Savannah Chamber. “By collaborating with our members Pratt Recycling and the City of Savannah, we are taking a proactive step towards reducing our environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices that will benefit our business community.”
The Chamber’s enhanced recycling and sustainability program will encompass a comprehensive approach to waste management, resource conservation, and environmental education for the organization.

America Recycles Day is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States. Held on and around November 15, America Recycles Day (ARD) educates and encourages individuals to be more mindful of what they consume, where and how to properly recycle, and pledge to recycle more and recycle right in their everyday lives.
