Canada is Savannah’s number one international market, and each year, the Ontario Motorcoach Association holds a marketplace for its tour operators. Visit Savannah’s director of global sales, Mindy Shea, attended the OMCA Marketplace. This intimate event allows all group-tourism-related companies to connect, network, learn, and secure future group bookings. Shea met with over 30 tour operators in one-on-one appointments where they received updates on Savannah and all it has to offer tour and motorcoach groups. All delegates also enjoyed networking receptions and educational sessions geared towards navigating the successful recovery of motor coach travel and group tourism.
