The MilkPEP Board and Visit Savannah announced its Every Woman’s Marathon last week, the only U.S. marathon designed by and for women. In its first-ever produced marathon, the MilkPEP Board chose Savannah for its inaugural race. Scheduled to take place on November 16, 2024, this event marks a significant milestone in the MilkPEP Board’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and supporting women in their fitness journeys. The two-day event will include enriching activities such as cooking and yoga classes, live performances, and insightful panels. Announcing the powerful initiative, The MilkPEP Board and Business Agency GALE tapped acclaimed poet Amanda Gorman to create an inspirational mantra designed as a call to action for all women.
