Navigating Tomorrow: Tourism’s Changing Environment was the theme of this year’s IITA (International Inbound Travel Association) Summit. The annual gathering was held in Memphis, TN, and was attended by Visit Savannah’s director of international sales, Mindy Shea. Shea serves as the organization’s Destination Marketing Organization representative and on the education committee. The Summit brings together US-based receptive operators and tourism industry suppliers for a week of education sessions, networking events, and one-on-one appointments. With Visit Savannah as an event sponsor, Shea also had the opportunity to showcase the city during the Summit’s opening general session.
