Last week, Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee’s media relations team, along with Kayla Black of the American Prohibition Museum, hosted a luncheon at South City Kitchen in Buckhead for more than 30 journalists and freelance writers in the Atlanta metro area to talk about story opportunities in Savannah. They also brought some of Savannah Rae’s famous flavored popcorn to the staffs at The Weather Channel and Atlanta Magazine. This is the first of several media outreach missions scheduled throughout the year in order to strengthen relationships with important media outlets.
