This week, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce proudly joined forces with the Mayor’s United Negro College Fund (UNCF) luncheon dedicated to helping African- American students with scholarships to attend the nation’s historically black colleges and universities. The Chamber team was joined by board members Carey Ferrara, Marianne Ganem-Poppell, Ben Polote Jr., and Zerik Samples. Justine Boyd, assistant VP for UNCF, graciously visited with our Chamber President and CEO, Bert Brantley, and our guests to personally thank the organization for our continued sponsorship of the Mayor’s UNCF luncheon held at Savannah State University.
