Parker’s Kitchen Celebrates New Georgetown Location!
Parker’s Kitchen celebrated the grand opening of its latest location at 1750 Grove Point Road, just off Abercorn Street, on Monday, June 17th. The event featured a lively ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Parker’s Kitchen Founder and CEO Greg Parker and distinguished guests from the Savannah community. Guests had the opportunity to explore the newly designed store and savor the delightful refreshments offered by Parker’s Kitchen.
Chamber CEO & President Bert Brantley started the ceremony by introducing Greg Parker and commending him on reaching this significant milestone. Mayor Van Johnson also spoke, highlighting Greg Parker’s contributions to the Savannah community through job creation and over $30 million in support for local causes, including initiatives benefiting veterans.
During the ceremony, Greg Parker announced the success of Parker’s Kitchen’s round-up campaign, which launched on March 1st and has already raised $250,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). This partnership aims to support local post-9/11 injured veterans and their families, covering essential career development and transition services at no charge.
The round-up campaign in support of WWP will continue until July 4th. Parker’s Kitchen is committed to freshly prepared Southern cuisine onsite. With over 1,400 employees, the company significantly contributes to the community, exemplified by its $30 million in local donations over the past eight years. The Baked Bear offers over a dozen baked-from-scratch original-recipe cookies and ice cream flavors, giving guests a chance to mix and match cookies or brownies for their top and bottom while choosing their favorite ice cream in the middle. Guests can choose if they want their sandwich rolled in toppings and get their sandwich warmed up. We have 2 cookies of the month flavors that are always changing and a seasonal rotating ice cream flavor. Other offerings include ice cream cups/cones/pints, cookies, sundaes, and Bear Bowls (warm cookie/brownie bowls with ice cream)!
