February 7, the Chamber held its annual Economic Outlook Luncheon to preview the business forecast for the coming year. Held at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, the luncheon featured presentations by Dr. Mike Toma of Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus and Dr. Jeff Humphries of the University of Georgia who replaced Dean Ayers at the last minute when Dr. Ayers came down with the flu. Attendees were also given a copy of the Chamber’s Economic Trends booklet, featuring research and analysis compiled by Georgia Southern University.
