Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC) of Atlanta, will officially launch our second location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 4:00 PM at our new FODAC facility at 7220 Sallie Mood Dr., Savannah, GA.  The Savannah location will partner with the Goodwill of Southeast Georgia and will enhance FODAC’s ability to collect gently used home medical equipment (HME). The HME items will be collected from the public at all 17 Goodwill retail stores around the coastal area, including wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, and all types of mobility aids and assistive technology needed by people with injuries, illnesses or disabilities to remain independent and active in their communities. Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC) of Atlanta, a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting individuals with disabilities, is a nationally recognized leader in medical reuse equipment and the largest organization of its kind in the world.
