In response to the devastating flooding caused by Tropical Storm Debby throughout Southeast Georgia and South Carolina’s Lowcountry, the Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) is introducing its Storm Recovery Loan Program. This program offers federal funding to provide financial relief for local small businesses impacted by the flooding.
Tropical Storm Debby has brought unprecedented rainfall to the region, resulting in widespread flooding and power outages that have significantly disrupted local businesses. SBAC’s new loan program offers immediate financial assistance to help these businesses cover essential recovery expenses. Eligible borrowers can receive up to $15,000 in assistance, with financing options that include a maximum term of 36 months, a 7% interest rate, and interest-only payments until 2025.
The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce remains steadfast in supporting the business community during this challenging time. It will continue to provide timely updates on available resources and recovery efforts for those affected.
