Mava Byrd, Director of Visit Savannah’s Visitor Information Centers, is nominated for the Tourism Leadership Council’s Service Leader award, to be presented to the winner at their 20th Annual Tourism Awards & Scholarship Dinner Thursday, February 22, of which Visit Savannah is a presenting sponsor. The Service Leader Award is presented to a managerial level employee who exhibits phenomenal service not only to guests but also to their colleagues through their exemplary leadership. Eligible candidates must be employed by TLC member businesses for a minimum of two years. Candidates for the Service Leader Award must serve on a supervisory level and exemplify leadership qualities while offering outstanding service within their business/organization.
