In partnership with Savannah Technical College, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a workshop for individuals interested in starting an in-home childcare service in Chatham County. Scheduled for Monday, September 23, at Savannah Technical College, this informative event will provide attendees with the essential knowledge and resources to successfully launch their own childcare business.

The workshop will cover critical topics such as state regulations, licensing requirements, and best practices for creating children’s safe and nurturing environment. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from experts in the field and representatives from local and state government agencies. The Chamber’s membership team will be available to answer questions and provide additional support for aspiring childcare providers.

As Savannah’s community continues to grow, the demand for quality and affordable childcare becomes increasingly crucial to the local economy. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting businesses and expanding access to childcare services to meet this growing need.
