Bardo COO Pritpal Singh, recently visited the Dunbrody Famine Ship in New Ross, County Wexford, Ireland. The Dunbrody experience showcases the emigration journey from Ireland during the famine era, highlighting the efforts of many to reach “the New World,” with some ultimately arriving in Savannah. Re-enactors aboard the ship bring this history to life in a 20-minute presentation, culminating in the passengers (tourists) symbolically completing their voyage at the “Savannah Landing.” Sean Connick, CEO of the JFK Trust and Dunbrody Famine Ship, warmly welcomed the group, stating, “We are thrilled to share our story with our friends from the States and to celebrate our deep-rooted connection with Savannah.
