Savannah Impact Program Hosts Community Event for Voter Registration, Life Insurance, and Gun Safety Awareness

The Savannah Impact Program (SIP) is proud to host a community event aimed at empowering and supporting Savannah residents through voter registration, life insurance education, and gun safety awareness. The event will occur on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 2005 Waters Ave.

The event is designed to encourage civic engagement, promote financial security through life insurance, and foster safer communities with gunlocks provided by Safe Kids Savannah.

This family-friendly event will feature food trucks, music, and community fellowship and awareness opportunities. Attendees can take advantage of free voter registration services, learn about life insurance benefits, and receive free gunlocks to help protect their homes and loved ones.

This initiative underscores the Savannah Police Department’s ongoing commitment to fostering a safe, engaged, and well-informed community. Join us for a day of community fellowship and vital resources for Savannah residents. For more information, call (912) 651-4350.
