Last week, members of Visit Savannah, including Jeff Hewitt, Kellie Linder, Jennifer Thompson, and Ginger McCoy, joined forces with two representatives from the Savannah Convention Center, the Westin, Hyatt, Perry Lane, Alida, Outside Brands, ETHOS, and Juice Studios to attend IMEX in Las Vegas. This annual event is the largest meeting and convention appointment tradeshow in North America, drawing over 15,000 industry representatives from around the globe.
This year, Visit Savannah debuted an innovative new booth configuration that significantly increased the number of appointments. The team conducted 200 one-on-one meetings with potential customers, double the number from last year. The booth featured a dedicated presentation area, which enabled them to add 82 thirty-minute appointments to their schedule, further boosting their outreach efforts.
IMEX is a leading global trade show for the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry. It provides event professionals with valuable networking opportunities, business opportunities, and educational sessions. It also serves as a vital platform for promoting Savannah as a premier destination for both domestic and international meetings and conventions.
