Last week, Visit Savannah hosted a group of nine travel/tour company professionals from Australia. After two full days and evenings of activities, they were off to Macon and Atlanta. None of the nine had visited Savannah in the past and four had not yet been to the United States.
The number of visitors from Australia has continued to grow over the last five years and Australia annually ranks in the top six international countries that drive visitation to our area.
