Several Savannah hospitality professionals spent the week of February 19 meeting with tour operators and travel leaders throughout the state of Florida. Fifteen people divided the state into four territories focusing on the major cities of Jacksonville, Tampa/Clearwater, Orlando, and Miami. Each team aimed for a minimum of 20 appointments and used this time to promote Savannah as an ideal city to include in their group travel plans. Meeting with clients both old and new, the Savannah teams spread the word about the latest and greatest developments in our city.
Pictured here is the Orlando team at a dinner they hosted at BRAVO Cucina Italiana for clients in the area. Companies represented included Florida and Beyond Group Travel,  Pegasus Marketplace, Celebration Tours & Travel, Hotel Beds/Tourico, and American Tours & Travel. Savannah team members pictured include Melissa Hayes (Visit Savannah), Leslie Garner (Staybridge Suites Historic District), and Linda Bell (Hilton Garden Inn Midtown / Hampton Inn & Suites Midtown).
