In November, the Visit Savannah convention sales team welcomed meeting planners from the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society (WOCN) as they explored Savannah as a potential host city for their June 2027 Annual Convention.
If selected, this prestigious event would bring over 2,000 attendees to Savannah, utilizing multiple hotels in the Historic District and the newly expanded Savannah Convention Center. The group received a warm Southern welcome, including a special appearance by Mayor Van Johnson at the Arco Lounge on Bay Street, where he invited WOCN members to experience Savannah’s unique charm and hospitality.
