Tybee Island Visitor Center Supervisor Liz Hood greeted visitors at the I-95 Georgia Welcome Center for Georgia on My Mind Day earlier this month. Each of Georgia’s Interstate Welcome Centers participated in the special day to thank guests for visit Georgia with food, giveaways, entertainment and information about area attractions.
Hood treated guests to a slice of “Savannah’s beach” in the experiential Visit Tybee area of the Welcome Center, which Visit Tybee and Visit Savannah received the 2017 Bill Hardman, Sr. Tourism Partnership Champion Award for their part in designing and creating.
