Visitor Center Managers Attend Sister Center Meeting in Dublin

Visitor Center managers Liz Hood from Tybee, Mava Byrd from Savannah  and Kelly Lord-Zieba from the I-95 Welcome Center in Port Wentworth recently visited Dublin, Georgia, to meet with Dublin’s visitor center staff for a quarterly information-sharing session. The meeting included tours of downtown, Theater Dublin and the Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial, where they are pictured here. The memorial is at Dublin’s First African Church, where Dr. King gave his first speech to the public on April 17, 1944. Each sister center meeting features what’s new in a new community, keeping the visitor center current on Georgia attractions, dining and activities within the region.
