Last week, Communications Manager Summer Bozeman attended a PR and media relations conference presented by Ragan PR, PR Daily and the Public Relations Society of America at KPMG in New York City. The conference focused on intensive workshops on pitching to the media, crisis communications, and keeping up with the flow of information in the age of the 24-hour news cycle.
Speakers at the conference included Amir Bibawy, editor of breaking news and digital strategy at the Associated Press; Jill Davidson, vice president of corporate communications at Meredith Corporation; and Tamra Johnson, national spokesperson and PR manager at AAA.
