A little rain couldn’t dampen the fun at the Chamber’s 17th annual Taste of Downtown Business Connection in Johnson Square last Thursday evening! The sun came out just before the event started, allowing around 40 member restaurants to offer samples of their most popular menu items to the musical accompaniment of The Cicada Brothers and Wassaw Sound. Taste of Downtown is one of the Chamber’s most popular and well-attended networking events of the year, taking place in beautiful and historic Johnson Square. This year, upwards of 2,000 employees of member businesses enjoyed the opportunity to meet and greet and exchange business cards under the live oak canopy.
Join us at our Military Appreciation Luncheon May 23, followed by our May Business Connection at the Savannah Bananas’ home opener May 31.
