Earlier this month, Teresa Willard, one of the Savannah Visitor Center’s First Impression Specialists, traveled to St. Mary’s to promote Savannah at Georgia On My Mind Day. Staff from Visit Tybee was also in attendance to promote the beach destination.
Through the end of the summer, representatives from Georgia destinations will gather at designated Welcome Centers to showcase their destination to the more than 12 million visitors who stop at Georgia Welcome Centers each year. The next Georgia On My Mind Day will take place at the Lavonia Welcome Center on I-85 on May 25.
