This month, landmark lifestyle publication Southern Living named Tybee Island to its list of the Best Islands in America. According to the magazine, “this small barrier island is so much more than the sum of its three-mile stretch of sand granules.” The article goes on to tout Tybee’s proximity to Savannah’s historic district, abundance of lodging options and engaging activities to keep visitors busy.
Tybee shares its spot on the list with such vacation giants as Lanai, Hawaii; Catalina Island in California; Mackinac Island, Michigan and more. Click here to read the full list.
