Visit Savannah Staff Participates in Tybee Beach Cleanup

Last weekend, a group of Visit Savannah team members joined Tybee Clean Beach Volunteers to spend an afternoon cleaning up trash on South Beach. Tybee Clean Beach Volunteers is a group that meets once a week, almost always on the weekends during “off” hours for the beach, to help keep Tybee clean. On busy weekends, they host multiple clean up events to tackle the effects of extra beach traffic.
Tybee Clean Beach Volunteers provides equipment for each weekend clean up ,and the effort is family/kid-friendly. If you’re looking for a way to encourage team-building, community service or to spend an afternoon enjoying Savannah’s beach and helping a great cause, please consider participating.
