A regional heatwave couldn’t spoil the fun at the Chamber’s first Blue Jeans & Barbecue Business Connection, held last week at Red Gate Farms. Temperatures were high, but the shade and the drinks were cool at the event at Red Gate’s pavilion by the lake. Tables were covered by a canopy of oaks, and guests were serenaded by Free Spirit Trio while they enjoyed cold refreshments as well as barbecue brisket and pulled pork sliders with cool cucumber salad, provided by Gerald’s Pig & Shrimp. Although the summertime business connection is hosted every June or July, this was the first time the Chamber has held a barbecue get-together for the first day of summer.
Join the Chamber for its next business connection networking event, where you can meet and greet local colleagues and build business opportunities.
