We’ve passed the midpoint of 2018, and it’s already time for Southern Living readers to start deciding the winners in the The South’s Best awards for 2019!
No one knows the South better than Southerners, so cast your vote on the places that represent the best of Southern culture and hospitality. Vote now, and you will have the opportunity to enter a giveaway for a chance to win a Grand Prize of $2,500 or one of three prizes of $500.

The South’s Best Bar: Alley Cat Lounge, Artillery, The Diner Bar at The Grey, El Rocko Lounge
The South’s Best Beach Community: Tybee Island
The South’s Best Chef: Mashama Bailey, The Grey
Best Barcebue in Georgia: B’s Cracklin’, Wiley’s Championship Barbecue
Best Hotel in Georgia: The Foley House Inn, The Kehoe House, The Kimpson Brice Hotel, The Mansion on Forsyth Park
Best Restaurant in Georgia: Atlantic, The Grey, The Wyld Dock Bar
Savannah isn’t nominated on the list the The South’s Best Food Cities, but you can write it in at the bottom! Businesses nominated as one of the Best in Georgia also have a chance to be named The South’s Best if they achieve enough votes. Make sure your favorite Savannah (and Tybee Island!) spots make this year’s list.
