Sports Council Adds New Corporate Challenge to Bridge Run

At the 2018 Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run, the Savannah Sports Council will be extending a new Corporate Challenge to local businesses, inviting them to bring as many employees to run (or walk) the race as possible. The Corporate Challenge will honor the business with more employees participating than any other, in order to to encourage health and wellness within their company. At the time of announcement, participants will have almost four months to train.
The Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run is scheduled for Saturday, December 1, with its annual Health & Wellness Expo taking place Friday, November 30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Savannah Civic Center.

Each year, more than 4,000 participants run and walk the 5K, 10K and Double Pump (a 5K and 10K combined) over Savannah’s Talmadge Bridge. Participants can look forward to medals for all races, live music, free beer and Brunswick stew as part of the Michelob Ultra Post-Race Party, presented by Host South. Don your best costume and you could be one of the Costume Contest winners; first, second and third place prizes of $400, $200 and $100 respectively are awarded in both the individual and group divisions.

A portion of race proceeds benefit Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion at St. Joseph’s/Candler.
