The Georgia Governor’s Tourism Conference was held August, 26-29 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. At the conference, the Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee teams lead by president Joseph Marinelli along with Michael Owens, president of the Savannah Tourism Leadership Council, participated in technology, advocacy, marketing and leadership discussions with the state DMO. Marinelli also joined a panel discussion on legislative policies and priorities hosted by the Georgia Association of CVBs.
