Last week, Visit Savannah representatives Joseph Marinelli and Mindy Shea, along with Pritpal Singh from the Perry Lane Hotel and Lori Lynah from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, completed a week-long sales and media mission in London, England and Dublin, Ireland. Appointments were with travel companies, national media and airlines including British Airways, Aer Lingus and Norwegian Air. The week was organized by Jo Piani, Visit Savannah’s representative based in the UK and Ireland.
“Our week there was extremely productive. And while we have a lot of educating to do about the Savannah market and products, we feel extremely confident that our visit there will help to move the needle in a favorable way,” said Joseph Marinelli, “we’ve been in the UK market for 10 years now so the timing of this visit was the next step in growing our exposure as a world-class destination to that part of the world.”
