SAINT LEO UNIVERSITY SAVANNAH EDUCATION CENTER
Saint Leo University’s Savannah Education Center will host its grand opening for its new location from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, October 18.
Founded in 1889, Saint Leo University has a proud history of providing an education for students from all backgrounds and all ages. The university has served the Savannah community since 1975, when it began offering classes at Hunter Army Airfield (HAAF) and Fort Stewart. It continues to deliver strong academic programs, one-on-one attention, and support services for students.

GLOW
On Monday, October 22, Glow will officially cut the ribbon in its new downtown location at 3 East Perry Street.
Glow is a full beauty boutique offering the most curated cosmetics selection and has professional makeup artists on hand to perform make-overs. Glow’s Midtown and Downtown locations are both comprised of seven treatment rooms and a spacious check-in/waiting area, all featuring different textures of white with soft lighting. Glow’s highly trained on-site medical staff combined with the ethereal aesthetic of the spa-like atmosphere creates the most relaxing yet professional medical spa options in the area. They have partnered with Starwood Hotel Group and Perry Lane Hotel to offer our services to guests in this luxury hotel located in downtown Savannah. LIVINGOODS, POOLER
Livingood’s Appliances and Bedding will host a grand opening ceremony on Thursday, October 25, at its new store in Pooler. The event will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony taking place at 2 p.m. The celebration will continue throughout the rest of the day, and guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments. Every visitor will be given a complimentary gift from the Livingood’s team and can enter to win a $3,000 Livingood’s gift certificate.
The new 12,000-square-foot showroom was built by the Dewitt Tilton Group of Savannah and is the third Savannah-area store for the family-owned appliance and mattress company. Founded in 1976, Livingood’s operates showrooms in Savannah and Okatie, S.C., offering major brands that include Sub Zero/Wolf, Thermador, Bosch, KitchenAid, Whirlpool, JennAir, Serta, Tempur-Pedic, Electrolux, Frigidaire, Maytag and General Electric.
Showroom hours for the new Pooler location will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

FêTE CHALET
Fête Chalet invites you to visit their ribbon cutting at Savannah Square Pops on Thursday, October 25! Fête Chalet is a 1957 Rollon Canned Ham camper converted into a mobile bar. This vintage camper is equipped with six taps for beer, wine and champagne and can create custom cocktails for your event! Fête Chalet can also serve locally roasted Nitro Cold Brew coffee and Georgia-made Kombucha along with unique mocktails. This mobile bar can be rented for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, backyards & anywhere she can fit!

J. PARKER LIMITED
Savannah’s most iconic clothier, J. Parker Limited, opened their second location on Saturday, September 1 in Twelve Oaks Shopping Center at 5500 Abercorn Street in the space next to Starbucks, and a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting is planned for Tuesday, October 9 beginning at 5 p.m.The store has been operating since Jimmy Parker founded it in 1972. Their original 20 West Broughton Street will continue serving the downtown community.
“We listened to our customers’ wishes about opening a second location and then this space became available. The timing was perfect and we know this venue creates a lot of accessibility and convenience for our patrons,” said Parker. Carrying many iconic menswear lines like Barbour, Peter Millar, Southern Tide and Filson and adding women’s wear to the new location, the business is family-owned and operated and has been dressing Savannah for generations. Congratulations to J. Parker Limited on the opening of their second location!
